Hello and Welcome! I have been working as a mental health professional for more than 20 years. I am fluent in English and Spanish and have worked in both my native country of El Salvador and here in Wisconsin. I work with adults, teenagers, couples and families. The issues I have experience with are anxiety, depression, phase of life changes, grief counseling, acculturation issues within families and traumatic experiences among others. My clinical experience has led me to recognize that I feel most comfortable incorporating Psychodynamic theory, CBT and positive psychology when working with individual clients and families. During my professional career I have seen that clients who make the most progress are those that are ready for change, willing to doing the work, and feel safe to open up during sessions.
