Hello and Welcome! I am a Mental Health Professional that incorporates theoretical knowledge, experience and humor when working with clients. I am a human being too and want you to feel that during our work together. I have been working in the mental health field for more than 20 years. I work with adults, teenagers, couples and families. The issues I have experience with are anxiety, depression, phase of life changes, grief counseling, acculturation issues within families and traumatic experiences among others. My clinical experience has led me to recognize that I feel most comfortable incorporating Psychodynamic theory, CBT, EMDR and positive psychology when working with clients. During my professional career I have seen that clients who make the most progress are those that are ready for change, willing to do the work, allow themselves to be vulnerable and truly open up during sessions.
